Permanent Placements LLC presents an opportunity for a Financial Services Regulatory Associate (Commodities & Derivatives) with a nationally recognized law firm in the United States. The role targets attorneys with 3–6 years of experience in commodities and derivatives regulatory matters.

The successful candidate will advise clients on compliance, participate in investigations and enforcement matters, and support cross-border licensing.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in financial services regulatory matters.
• Strong knowledge of Commodity Exchange Act, CFTC regulations, and derivatives regulation.
• Experience advising commodities/derivatives participants and financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on compliance with the Commodity Exchange Act and CFTC regulations.
• Counsel market participants on regulatory requirements and developments.
• Assist with regulatory examinations, investigations, and enforcement matters.
• Advise financial services firms, investment advisers, asset managers, and funds on regulatory issues.
• Support cross-border registration and licensing matters.
• Counsel on broker-dealer regulatory requirements.
• Analyze issues involving digital assets, blockchain, and fintech platforms.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide strategic guidance.
• Draft memoranda, analyses, alerts, and compliance materials.
• Collaborate with attorneys across financial services and regulatory practices.
