Job summary

Napakiak Environmental and Construction (NEC) seeks a Regulatory Affairs Lead to guide regulatory strategy for DOE/NRC compliance and lead safety basis documentation. You will supervise a team, coordinate with regulators, and ensure timely reporting and audits across facilities.

Responsibilities include developing compliance programs, leading hazard analyses, and communicating project status to management while upholding NEC's values of safety, integrity, and service.

Qualifications

• BS in nuclear engineering or related field with substantial regulatory experience.
• Experience with DOE and NRC regulations, licensing, and safety basis development.
• Leadership experience and ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop regulatory strategies to ensure DOE/NRC compliance.
• Lead hazards analysis and safety basis documentation development.
• Coordinate regulatory reviews, audits, and reporting with agencies.
• Manage and mentor regulatory affairs staff and matrixed teams.
• Communicate project status and regulatory implications to stakeholders.
