Job Title: Regulatory Coordinator – Cosmetics & Personal Care

Reports To: Senior Manager, Regulatory, Quality and Product Control

Employment Type: 6-month contract

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Regulatory Coordinator to support compliance efforts for cosmetic and personal care products across domestic and global markets. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that products meet all regulatory requirements, with a focus on registration in the Middle East and alignment with our client's internal policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients and functions, international regulatory frameworks, and exceptional organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and manage product regulatory documentation to ensure compliance with international and domestic regulations.
• Evaluate product formulas for conformity with global, regional, and our client’s specific regulatory standards.
• Coordinate the collection of substantiating documents necessary to demonstrate regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate and support product registration efforts in the Middle East by compiling and submitting required documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely regulatory submissions and updates.
• Utilize regulatory databases and tools (e.g., PCPC, Ithos) to assess and track ingredient and product status.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environmental Science).
• Experience: 3–5 years of regulatory affairs experience in the cosmetic, personal care, or related industry.
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with the PCPC ingredient database, INCI names, and cosmetic ingredient functions.
• Working knowledge of EU, US, and other global cosmetic, chemical, and environmental regulations, including those relevant to the Middle East.
• Experience with product registration processes in international markets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Ithos is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
