Job summary

BD in the United States seeks a Regulatory Affairs Associate Director, Globalization, to lead global product registration strategies. Based in Franklin Lakes, NJ, you will partner with Business Units, Regions, and Central RA to drive standardized processes and scalable regulatory programs.

You will coach a diverse regulatory team, align regulatory plans with business goals, and stay ahead of evolving regulatory policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or technology discipline required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant management and leadership experience with a track record of effectively leading people, projects, and business initiatives.
• Master’s degree in business, management, or technology related field preferred.
• Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized regulatory intelligence and governance related to global product registration.
• Own and standardize global regulatory registration processes across regions.
• Act as strategic partner to Business Units and Regional Regulatory leaders.
• Coordinate and network across Business Units, Regions, Central RA, and other functions.
• Train, develop, and manage a regulatory team across BU and regions.
• Assist in risk mitigation planning and solutions.
• Identify common pain points and potential solutions across regulatory teams.
• Drive BD’s global regulatory strategy and vision.
• Stay apprised of global regulatory policy topics.
