Job summary

St. Charles Health System is seeking a Regulatory Affairs, Accreditation & Licensing Specialist to provide regulatory expertise for Joint Commission, CMS, Oregon Health Authority, and other agencies.

This role partners with Quality Management and Leadership to ensure proper documentation, compliance, and timely reporting across the organization. The specialist coordinates survey readiness, licensing, and emergency preparedness, reviews staffing compliance, and supports regulatory improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree in related field preferred; formal lean/process improvement training encouraged.
• CPHQ or health accreditation certifications within 1–2 years; Oregon driver’s license and travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Joint Commission, OHA, CMS, OSHA programs and surveys.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting and submissions; ensure ongoing readiness.
• Advise leaders on regulatory requirements, risk, and documentation standards.
• Maintain regulatory databases and app interfaces; ensure up-to-date information.
• Educate organization on changing regulatory standards and participate in quality committees.
