Texas Juvenile Justice Department in Texas is seeking a seasoned administrator to oversee the Regulation Safety Unit, supervise case managers and youth development coaches, and ensure due process and safety protocols are followed.

You will lead admission reviews, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, provide training, analyze data to improve programs, and respond to emergencies while maintaining compliance with state standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 2 years of full-time wage-earning experience in residential, treatment, or correctional settings with youth or adults, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• High School diploma or equivalent; 6 years of related experience; at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior-level role.

Responsabilités

• Review Regulation Safety Unit admission and release decisions; ensure due process and documentation.
• Conduct youth groups, interventions, and individual counseling.
• Provide training, direction, and supervision to case managers and youth development coaches.
• Ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and safety standards in case management and unit operations.
