Job summary

Minnesota Coaches LLC in the United States is seeking a reliable Regular Ed Driver to safely transport students along designated routes while delivering friendly, patient service.

The role requires strong communication, basic vehicle inspection knowledge, and the ability to work with children and individuals with special needs. You will perform pre-trip checks, maintain records, and coordinate with dispatchers to handle route changes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in school bus driving preferred, but not necessary.
• Basic mechanical understanding for pre-trip inspections.
• Clear English communication; multilingual skills are a plus.
• Excellent customer service and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to write reports and maintain records.
• Childcare or working with children experience is advantageous.
• Must be able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers along designated routes while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, some mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with diverse populations, including children and individuals with special needs.

Duties

• Safely operate a vehicle along assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.

• Assist passengers, including children and those with disabilities, during boarding and disembarking.

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or passenger needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
