Job summary

Loyola Medicine is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients and implement effective therapy plans for inpatients and outpatients. You will educate patients, provide consults, and assist with discharge planning.

You will supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a Chicago-area setting with on-site shifts and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Current IL state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR/BLS certification (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and plans an effective Physical Therapy program for inpatients and outpatients.
• Provides patient education, consultation and discharge planning.
• Supervises and delegates care to Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians.

What you’ll do:

Evaluates patients, plans and implements an effective Physical Therapy program based upon physical assessment, clinical judgement, and psychological sensitivity for inpatients and outpatients with diverse diagnoses; provides patient education, consultation, and discharge planning; supervises and delegates patient care to Physical Therapist Assistants, and Rehab Technicians.

What you’ll need for this job:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Master's preferred
• Current IL state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR/BLS - American Heart Association

Compensation:

Pa y Range: $35.89 - $62.91 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
