Job summary

Loyola Medicine Transport, part of Trinity Health, is based at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago's western suburbs. Loyola Medicine Transport is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, plan and implement a PT program for inpatients and outpatients with diverse diagnoses, provide education, discharge planning, and supervise PTAs and Rehab Technicians.

The role operates on a Day Shift (8 am–4:30 pm, Mon–Fri) with weekend coverage every 5–6 weeks and occasional holiday

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; Master's preferred.
• Current IL state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• CPR/BLS - American Heart Association certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, plans and implements an effective Physical Therapy program based upon physical assessment, clinical judgement, and psychological sensitivity for inpatients and outpatients with diverse diagnoses; provides patient education, consultation, and discharge planning; supervises and delegates patient care to Physical Therapist Assistants, and Rehab Technicians.

What you’ll need for this job:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Master's preferred

Compensation

Pa y Range: $34.48 - $59.92 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
