Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in La Grange, IL is seeking a PRN Billing/Access Specialist to support patient access and financial responsibilities. The role covers scheduling, Medicare compliance reviews, and coordination with insurance providers.

Responsibilities include estimating patient financial responsibility, collecting payments or arranging plans, and ensuring proper pre-authorizations are obtained within established timeframes. Strong MS Office and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Mature judgement when dealing with patients, physicians, and insurance representatives.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft programs and familiarity with database programs.
• Ability to operate general office machines (computer, fax, printer, scanner).
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks and organize work efficiently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description
