Freeman Health System is seeking a Part-Time Registration Clerk to support patient intake processes at our facility. You will welcome patients, collect information, and initiate financial counseling as part of a seamless registration flow.

The role requires strong customer service skills, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work mornings, with compensation and benefits reflecting a healthcare environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; two years of college preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use standard office equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients presenting to Freeman Health System.
• Interview patients to obtain registration info and signatures.
• Initiate financial counseling process and collect amounts owed.
• Verify insurance at point of service and estimate patient charges.
• Serve as primary contact for initial communications with patients.

Schedule: Part-Time, Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-12:00pm

What You'll Do

• Registration of patients presenting to Freeman Health System.
• Conducts patient interviews to obtain registration information, complete required forms and obtains signatures.
• Initiates financial counseling process.
• Collects monies owed.
• Verifies insurance at point of service and calculates patient estimates.
• Represents Freeman Health System as the focal point for all initial communications.

Preferred Requirement

• High School Diploma or GED or Completion of two years of college level classes
• Minimum of 6 months customer service required.
• Knowledge of computers, and other standard office equipment required.
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute required.
• Preferred: Medical office experience preferred.
