Salem Health's Emergency Department at Salem Hospital seeks a Registrar to courteously admit and register patients, collecting demographic, insurance, and financial information in the EMR with accuracy. You will verify insurance eligibility, obtain necessary authorizations, handle registrations in Epic, and support Lean improvements while delivering empathetic, professional service across departments.

As a registrar in the Emergency Department at Salem Health, you will courteously admit and register all patients, accurately capturing their demographic, insurance, and financial information in the electronic medical record system. You’ll verify insurance eligibility, obtain necessary authorizations, manage registration errors, and provide exceptional customer service while adhering to regulatory and workflow standards, all while supporting continuous improvement through Lean principles and team collaboration.
