Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated School Registrar to manage and protect student academic records. The role oversees enrollment, registration, and transcript processes to ensure a smooth administrative flow for students, families, and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong skills in SIS usage, organization, and communication. On-site work with routine hours plus potential travel to a second site is expected.

Responsibilities

Our education department is growing, and we are looking for a dedicated and experienced School Registrar to join our team.

Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center provides quality mental health care and education services for adolescents, ages 11–17 who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, educational, family and social challenges. The dedicated professionals at Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center provide quality mental health treatment for children. The program establishes healthy behaviors and prepares children to transition back home. At Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center, we also provide on-site academic instruction.

As our School Registrar, you will manage the maintenance and integrity of all student academic records. You will oversee enrollment, registration, and transcripts ensuring a seamless administrative experience for students, families, and staff.

• Monday - Friday; 7:30 am - 4:00 pm or 8:00 am -4:30 pm
• On-site at Palm Shores BHC. Occasional travel to second site Suncoast BHC, 10 minutes away.

Qualifications

High School diploma or approved equivalency diploma.

BACKGROUND

Must be able to pass Level 2 Background Screening. Skill/Ability Requirements

• Knowledge of office procedures, clerical skills and school operations.
• Knowledge of student registration and student record keeping.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, all facility staff and other educational institutions.
• Ability to organize and prioritize.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to use computer and applications software.
• Strong familiarity with student information systems (SIS) and database management.
• Strong knowledge of education compliance standards and privacy laws (such as FERPA).
