Job summary

Clinch Valley Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registrar to join our Richlands-area team onsite. The role supports admissions, registrations, pre-admissions, discharges and transfers, ensuring accurate data capture and positive guest relations in a busy hospital setting.

We offer an evening schedule (3 PM–11:30 PM), with weekend rotation, and a pay range of $15.27–$18.86 per hour. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred and one year of medical office

Qualifications

• Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree is preferred.
• 1 year of experience working in a medical/business office setting is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance rules and regulations strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is strongly preferred.

• Directs patients and visitors while promoting positive guest relations.
• Accurately obtains demographic and insurance information, and is responsible for upfront collections.
• Is responsible for the Admission/Registration, Pre-Admissions, Discharges, and Transfers of patients.

What we're looking for:
