The Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh is seeking a Registration & Customer Service professional to support registrations for overnight camp, day camp, specialty camps, and other programs. You will process registrations accurately and on time, helping participants and families throughout the enrollment process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Human Services, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • At least two years experience in a customer service/sales environment.
  • Experience in the use of Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsible for providing excellent customer service to both external and internal customers by assisting with registrations throughout the agency including, but not limited to overnight camp, day camp, specialty camps, and other JCC programming (swim, sports, etc.).

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensures incoming registrations are processed in an accurate and timely manner while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
  • Assists Registration & Customer Service Coordinator with processing program withdrawals, cancellations or changes in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assists Registration & Customer Service Coordinator with training of staff to ensure that customer service standards are exceeded for both internal and external customers.
  • Ensures account accuracy, produces tax statements and account reconciliations.
  • Assists Registration & Customer Service Coordinator with program declines, collections on account balances, programs, and memberships.
  • Serves on interdisciplinary team (finance and marketing) and is a resource to staff in creation of or access to class rosters, mailing lists and other related requests.
  • Ensures data accuracy between Traction Rec and third party software, CampMinder.
  • Enforces agency policies as it relates to staff memberships and accounts.
  • Works effectively with other key JCC departments to provide effective and efficient service delivery.
  • Ability to define problems, develop solutions, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to manage and balance a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment under tight time constraints.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, Human Services, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience and at least two years experience in a customer service/sales environment.Experience in the use of Salesforce preferred.
