The Registrar reports up through the Provost's Office which oversees a broad range of academic and administrative departments, including academic affairs, student affairs, enrollment management, the Film Center, and the library and special collections. The provost provides leadership and vision for the academic programs, establishes budgetary priorities, and guides the process and implementation of SAIC’s strategic planning.
Leads and manages the Registration and Records Office including supervision of staff. The Registrar develops, implements, and assesses the scheduling process, registration, graduation conferral, and maintenance/integrity of academic records. This position supervises the administration of academic policies and procedures. The Registrar researches, analyzes and interprets data and processes to assist leadership in decisions related to enrollment trends, academic and curricular policies, and related technology. The Registrar coordinates and consults with various offices on campus wide operations/initiatives related to the Registration and Records Office.
