Job summary

Pineville Animal Clinic is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join a collaborative care team. The role involves assisting veterinarians, preparing equipment, and administering medications as prescribed.

You will monitor anesthesia and provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients, while maintaining detailed medical records and client communications. The ideal candidate holds an RVT/LVT with NC licensure and an accredited Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology, and

Qualifications

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with valid NC license.
Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program.
Strong knowledge of veterinary medical practices, procedures, and terminology.
Proficiency in handling and restraining animals with care in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with veterinarians and staff to ensure seamless patient care and client service.
Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and surgeries; prepare equipment and supplies.
Administer medications, vaccines, labs, and treatments as directed.
Monitor anesthesia and patient vitals during procedures.
Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients, including wound care and fluids.
