Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour. Salary is based on role, level, location and other factors.

Responsibilities
- Provide support to veterinarians in ensuring optimal care for clients' pets.
- Assist during treatments and procedures.
- Monitor critically ill or injured patients closely.
- Collaborate with the team for around‑the‑clock care and treatment coordination.
- Offer compassionate care and support to patients and owners.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as bloodwork and imaging.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Monitor and maintain medical equipment.
- Communicate with pet owners regarding updates and treatment plans.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT); Senior Veterinary Assistant considered.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable mathematical calculation skills for drug doses, CRIs, invoices, estimates, etc.
- Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP); must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into this role unless holding a valid CA‑RVT license.
