Job summary

Animal Care Clinic North in Indiana is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. You will handle inpatient and outpatient care, working closely with veterinarians and assisting in exam rooms with history, vital signs, vaccines, and diagnostics.

As a full-time RVT, you may also schedule and perform procedures such as suture removal and medication monitoring, while ensuring client education and compassionate care for animal patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
• Ability to work closely with veterinarians and support staff.

Responsibilities

Animal Care Clinic North is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to become an integral part of our dynamic team!

A Registered Veterinary Technician directly handles inpatient and outpatient care, working hand-in-hand with the veterinarians. The technician may assist in the exam rooms by taking patient history, vital signs, preparing vaccines, running diagnostic tests, assisting in animal restraint and providing client education.

Technicians may also see their own appointments for procedures such as suture removal, vaccine administration when a doctor exam is not required, long-term medication monitoring testing and discharge of hospitalized patients.
