Join us as a Registered Veterinary Technician

As an RVT, you will play a vital role in caring for pets by providing comprehensive end-to-end care, including outpatient treatments, laboratory tests, and support services like admitting and discharging patients.

*Shift availability needed: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Support veterinarians to ensure quality care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
2. Assist with hospital functions to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
3. Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state's Veterinary Practice Act.
4. Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and Thrive Membership options, medications, and treatments.
5. Maintain accurate medical records using practice systems.
6. Gather relevant health history from clients and maintain medical charts.
7. Use safe restraining techniques, follow protocols, and keep treatment areas clean and organized.
8. Support and mentor fellow team members.

Experience & Skills Requirements:

• Previous veterinary technician/assistant experience required
• Registered Veterinary Technician licensure required
• Proficiency in IV catheter placement, blood work, and injections
• Experience in monitoring anesthesia and working with monitoring equipment
• Team player with a willingness to learn and self-motivation
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
