Job summary

Eastlake Veterinary Services, joining Thrive Pet Healthcare, seeks a Lead Registered Veterinary Technician in Thornton, CO for full-time work. You’ll lead clinical care, oversee patient flow, and support doctors with diagnostics and anesthesia.

This role emphasizes leadership, hands-on patient care, labs, admissions and discharges, with growth opportunities through ThriveU and continuing education. Compensation starts at $29–$32 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of clinical veterinary experience (direct patient care).
  • Active CVT/RVT/LVT certification required.
  • Strong anesthesia skills and monitoring ability.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end care for patients.
  • Facilitate outpatient treatments and perform laboratory tests.

Description

Eastlake Veterinary Services is looking for a full-time Lead Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Thornton, CO.

About You

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) required
  • Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
  • Previous experience in Veterinary Leadership strongly preferred
  • Possesses a positive work attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $29 – $32 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
