Carolina Veterinary Specialists – Charlotte, part of PetVet Care Centers, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician for the busy Emergency department. You will manage triage, history taking, and anesthesia administration across pre, peri, and post-procedure periods while supporting diagnostics and surgery.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
• At least 1 year veterinary assistant experience (2–5 years preferred).
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift; Friday through Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient triage and history taking in the Emergency department.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor during pre-, peri-, post-procedure periods.
• Assist in diagnostic and surgical procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized treatment and exam rooms.
• Communicate patient status to doctors and staff.
• Discharge patients and conduct client communications.
