CARE | Charlotte Animal Referral & Emergency is seeking a 2nd shift Emergency Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our 24-hour ER team in Charlotte, NC. You will support veterinarians by triaging and assisting with intakes, anesthesia, and patient care.

Requirements include a high school diploma, at least 2 years of veterinary technician experience (RVT preferred), ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and proficiency with EMR, lab analyzers, and digital radiology.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
• RVT preferred but not required.
• 2+ years of veterinary technician experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in all aspects of care.
• Provide nursing care and triage for emergency cases.
• Perform laboratory analyses and radiology as needed.
• Monitor anesthesia induction and recovery.
