Job summary

Jamacha Pet Vets in California is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Veterinary Technician (RVT) to support surgery, anesthesia, and dental procedures in a fast-paced general practice.

You will coordinate schedules, prepare anesthetics, induce and monitor anesthesia, perform dental prophylaxis and radiography, and guide clients through admission and discharge with compassion. This is a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of veterinary technician experience.
  • Active and in-good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in California.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, anesthesia induction and monitoring, dental care, radiography, and medical records.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Registered Veterinary Technician - Dentistry

Jamacha Pet Vets is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Veterinary Technician (RVT)to join our team and provide dedicated support for surgery, anesthesia, and dental procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who wants to fully utilize their skillset with autonomy, trust, and support in a fast-paced, collaborative general practice environment. From induction through recovery, you will play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, high-quality patient care alongside a veterinary team that values skilled technicians.

In this position, you will take an active role in:

  • Coordinating surgical and dental procedure schedules
  • Calculating and preparing anesthetic medications and drug dosages
  • Inducing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia patients
  • Performing dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
  • Monitoring patient recovery and ongoing procedural care
  • Guiding clients through patient admission and discharge with confidence and compassion

Schedule and compensation:

Compensation:$30-36per hour, for each hour worked

This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday.

Full-time Benefits Package*:

  • Bonus package: $2000 based on active, good-standing veterinary technician credentials in the state of California

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

  • 3+ years of veterinary technician experience

    • Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
    • Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
    • Surgical assistance and aseptic technique

    • Accurate medical record documentation
    • Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint techniques

    • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment
