Job summary

Cedar City Veterinary Care is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT) to join our private, growing small animal practice. We value kindness, teamwork, and excellent patient care while supporting your professional growth.

As an RVT, you will perform anesthesia, dental prophylaxis with radiographs, and assist with surgeries. You’ll collect samples, manage in-house diagnostics, and maintain records, all while working with a collaborative veterinary team.

Responsibilities

• Inducing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia.
• Performing dental prophylaxis and obtaining full-mouth dental radiographs.
• Assisting with surgery and dentistry.
• Placing IV catheters.
• Collecting blood and urine samples.
• Running in-house laboratory diagnostics.
• Taking diagnostic radiographs.
• Maintaining anesthesia and medical records.
• Maintaining DEA-controlled drug logs and inventory.
• Client education and discharge instructions.
• Working closely with the veterinarian to provide exceptional patient care.

What You’ll Do

Our RVTs are an essential part of patient care and are trusted with real responsibility.

Schedule

• Full‑time (36–40 hours/week)
• Four‑day work week
• One Saturday morning per month
• No emergency or overnight shifts

Compensation & Benefits

• $24–28/hour based on experience and skills; performance‑based raise after a successful 60‑day introductory period
