Wooster Animal Clinic in Northeastern Ohio is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, high-quality team. You will assist with anesthesia, imaging, surgeries, and daily patient care while communicating clearly with clients.

We offer training, ongoing education, and a supportive environment with experienced doctors and technicians; background checks required; some Saturdays may be needed.

Qualifications

• Active RVT license required; 1+ year experience preferred but not required.
• Punctual and reliable with ability to work some Saturdays.
• Excellent client communication and medical record management.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary procedures, hospital operations.
• Experience with radiography and dental radiography a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with animal hazards.
• Commitment to ethics and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples.
• Diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases.
• Administration of medications and communication of treatment plans with clients.
• Surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
