Job summary

Alexis Road Animal Hospital in Toledo, OH is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will assist in exams, surgeries, and daily clinical tasks, while maintaining smooth operations and client communication.

The role requires an active Ohio RVT license or transfer, experience with IV catheter placement, in-house lab work, and a collaborative approach to care; we offer growth opportunities and a supportive work environment.

Job description

Alexis Road Animal Hospital is actively seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join their team. This candidate must have a current Veterinary Technician license in the state of Ohio or willing to get theirs transferred. This clinic is under new management and we are super excited for the future of the clinic and our new team. If you are looking to bring your skill set and knowledge to a clinic that is looking to grow then we would love to hear from you. We are seeking a candidate that is comfortable assisting in surgery, running rooms, working well with other team members, placing IV catheters, running in-house laboratory equipment, is dependable and looking for longevity.

Qualifications

• Veterinary Technician License active in the state of Ohio
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of running in-house lab work
• Placing IV catheters
• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
