Qualifications

  • Strong anesthesia, catheter placement, phlebotomy, and diagnostic skills.

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vitals, administering medications and treatments, and assisting with procedures
  • Place IV catheters, draw blood, and perform other technical skills within scope of practice
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and emergency procedures
  • Run and monitor anesthesia under veterinarian supervision
  • Perform diagnostic testing, including bloodwork, urinalysis, and other in-house lab work
  • Take and process radiographs and assist with other diagnostic imaging
  • Maintain accurate, detailed medical records
  • Educate and communicate with clients regarding treatment plans, home care instructions, and follow-up needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment area, adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards
  • Mentor and support veterinary assistants and support staff as needed

Our client's private veterinary hospital is looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join their growing team! What You'll Do:
