Job summary

Veterinary Center of Parker, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital. You will work closely with veterinarians and the care team to provide excellent patient care from arrival through treatment and follow-up.

The ideal candidate is Colorado-registered or eligible, with experience in surgery and anesthesia, and a commitment to high-quality patient care and compassionate client communication.

Qualifications

  • Is a Registered Veterinary Technician in Colorado or eligible for registration.
  • Has veterinary technician experience, including surgery and anesthesia.
  • Maintains a high standard of patient care.
  • Communicates effectively and compassionately with clients.
  • Works well with veterinarians and fellow team members.
  • Can prioritize and multitask in a busy hospital environment.
  • Is dependable, professional, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
  • Patient restraint and handling.
  • Laboratory collection and processing.
  • Surgical preparation and assistance.

  • Client education and communication.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Supporting veterinarians and fellow team members throughout the day.

What You’ll Do

Our veterinary technicians are key members of our medical team. You’ll work closely with our veterinarians, client care team, and fellow technicians to provide excellent care from the moment a patient arrives through treatment and follow-up.
