Position Skills

• Professional client communication and education, obtaining medical histories and symptoms
• Laboratory procedures including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals
• Diagnostic imaging and safety protocols
• Nursing skills: restraining patients, administering medications, applying bandages, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring
• Proficient in dental prophylaxis

Position Requirements

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials
• Associates degree in Veterinary Technology

Pay range of $20.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience.
