Job summary

VCA Paw Prints Animal Hospital in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVt) or VTNE-eligible candidate for a full-time role. You will perform venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, dentistry, and more in a small animal practice with a compassionate, community-focused culture.

The position offers 4x10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and a variety of employee perks.

Qualifications

• Licensed RVT or VTNE-eligible.
• Ability to perform venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Experience with radiology, anesthesia, dental procedures, and lab work.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Monitor radiology imaging and anesthesia.
• Conduct physical exams and patient assessments.
• Assist in surgical prep and surgeries.
• Provide dentistry and dental prophylaxis.
• Conduct laboratory and pharmacy tasks.
• Support patient recovery and inpatient care.

Registered Veterinary Technician at VCA Paw Prints Animal Hospital, Lafayette, IN

Join our AAHA-accredited small animal practice offering primary care, surgery, dentistry, and advanced medicine with Fear Free handling techniques and a compassionate, community-focused approach.

Schedule

Full-time, 4x10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays.

Compensation

Pay range is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.
