Job summary

VCA Lafayette Animal Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited team in Lafayette, Indiana. You will support veterinarians with procedures, patient care, and client education in a low-stress environment.

As a CVT/LVT/RVT or VTNE-eligible technician, you’ll perform surgeries, dental cleanings, radiographs, medications, and diagnostics while delivering compassionate care and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible to sit for VTNE.
  • Strong technical and clinical skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery.
  • Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments.
  • Collect samples and run in-house diagnostics.
  • Place catheters and support patient treatments.
  • Educate clients on care plans, medications, and follow-up.

The Role

As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. You’ll work closely with our veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures while helping guide clients through their pet’s care with confidence and compassion.

What You’ll Do

Pay range is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge,abilitiesand other relevant credentials.
