VCA Paw Prints Animal Hospital in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited team. You will partner with veterinarians to perform venipuncture, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, physical exams, and surgical support, while guiding clients with empathy and clarity.

Our hospital values mentorship and teamwork, offering opportunities for respiratory in-house training, dentistry, lab work, and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician or eligible to sit for VTNE.
• Team player who wants to fully use their technical training in a mentorship-driven practice.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians in a variety of medical procedures with compassion.
• Venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Perform physical exams and patient assessment.
• Assist in surgical prep and procedures.
• Provide dentistry, lab, and pharmacy support.
• Support patient recovery and hospitalized care.

Registered Veterinary Technician at VCA Paw Prints Animal Hospital, Lafayette, IN

Join our AAHA-accredited small animal practice offering primary care, surgery, dentistry, and advanced medicine with Fear Free handling techniques and a compassionate, community-focused approach.

Schedule:

Full-time, 4x10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays.

Compensation:

Pay range is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.

What You'll Do:

You'll work closely with our veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures while helping guide clients through their pet's care with confidence and compassion.
