Job summary

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners’ Alexis Road Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician in Ohio. An active Ohio RVT license or transfer is required to join a growing team under new management.

You will assist veterinarians in surgery, operate in a busy clinic, handle patients safely, run in-house labs, place IV catheters, and educate clients while supporting a clean, efficient hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RVT license or transfer capability.
• Strong animal handling skills and clinical procedure knowledge.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with in-house lab work.
• IV catheter placement experience.
• AVMA-accredited Vet Tech program preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
• Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate clients on pet care and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Registered Veterinary Technician

Alexis Road Animal Hospital is actively seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join their team. This candidate must have a current Veterinary Technician license in the state of Ohio or willing to get theirs transferred. This clinic is under new management and we are super excited for the future of the clinic and our new team. If you are looking to bring your skill set and knowledge to a clinic that is looking to grow then we would love to hear from you. We are seeking a candidate that is comfortable assisting in surgery, running rooms, working well with other team members, placing IV catheters, running in-house laboratory equipment, is dependable and looking for longevity.

Qualifications

• Veterinary Technician License active in the state of Ohio
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of running in-house lab work
• Placing IV catheters
• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
