Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Restrain animals and triage patients
• Collect and analyze lab samples
• Perform diagnostic imaging
• Provide nursing care for hospitalized cases
• Administer medications
• Communicate treatment plans effectively with clients
• Assist in surgeries and manage anesthesia
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Must be adaptable to various situations, from routine checkups to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
• 1+ years of experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of Cornerstone software is a plus
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, team player
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of preventative care, surgical procedures, hospital flow
• Proficient in sample collection and lab test processing
• Skilled in radiograph positioning (dental skills a plus)
• Experience with anesthesia and surgical monitoring
• Self-motivated, committed to ongoing learning
