Riverside Drive Animal Care Center, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner in Dublin, OH, is hiring a Registered Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians, educate clients, and maintain medical records in a busy 7-doctor practice, with opportunities to grow through Thrive U and CE programs.

This full-time role includes assisting with surgeries, maximizing patient flow, obtaining health histories, and mentoring team members while delivering compassionate care for cats and dogs in a modern facility.

Qualifications

• RVT licensure required or pending licensure.
• 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Great communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality care and educate clients.
• Assist with hospital functions to maximize productivity and patient flow.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures as credentialed.
• Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and Thrive Membership options.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records with practice systems.
• Obtain health history and manage medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques and keep areas clean and sterile.
• Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.

Full-time: 4–10-hour shifts-1-2 Saturdays/month

Our practice has served as a full-service veterinary medical facility for cats and dogs for more than 25 years.In addition to our core offerings, we provide advanced services such as laparoscopic procedures, acupuncture, stem cell therapy, endoscopy, and specialized geriatric care to support the long-term health and comfort of our patients.

Riverside Drive Animal Care Center is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join the team.

Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to:

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• With each hospital function,assistveterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity andmaintainpositive patient flow.
• Assistwith surgeries and proceduresin accordance withyour state's Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians.
• Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance onThrive Membershipoptions, medications, andadditionaltreatments.
• Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
• Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
• Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.

Experience & Skill Requirements:

• Veterinary technician (RVT) licensure required or pending licensure
• 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred
• Great communication and customer service skills

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $20-25 hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
