Highlands Animal Clinic in Denver’s Highlands neighborhood is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our five-doctor small animal practice located in the heart of the Highlands area. The role includes blood draws, IV catheter placement, in-house diagnostics, dental prophylaxis, and anesthesia monitoring alongside the doctors.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (or eligible).
• Minimum of 2 years of small animal clinical experience.
• Solid technical skillset and strong clinical confidence.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, reliable, and organized.
• Positive attitude and desire to grow.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and IV catheter placement.
• Provide hospitalized patient care and treatments.
• Run in-house laboratory diagnostics.
• Assist with and perform dental prophylaxis.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures.
• Support doctors during exams and treatments.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members (in person and on the phone).
• Contribute to a smooth, efficient daily workflow.
