Job summary

Animal Dental Care & Oral Surgery Fort Collins is seeking a registered veterinary technician to support anesthesia and dentistry in a collaborative, learning-focused team. Four 10-hour shifts offer a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends.

We provide hands-on training to develop dentistry and oral surgery skills, with benefits and a strong emphasis on compassionate patient care for dogs and cats.

Qualifications

• Must hold a veterinary technician credential and provide skilled nursing support.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dentistry is preferred but not required.
• Clear communication and teamwork are essential for coordinating patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Provide attentive nursing care before and after procedures.
• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and dental imaging as trained.
• Place IV catheters, collect samples, administer medications, and calculate doses.
• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
• Help pet owners understand treatment plans, estimates, and home-care instructions.
• Communicate patient needs and concerns with doctors and team.
