Santa Fe Pet Clinic in Olathe, KS seeks a Registered Veterinary Technician to join a warm, family-oriented team. The RVT will assist veterinarians, educate clients, and perform routine procedures with a focus on patient safety and high-quality care.

Requirements include 1–2 years of experience, Kansas state license, and ability to place IV catheters and assist in surgeries. Compensation is $23–$25 per hour with full-time benefits after 90 days.

Our practice is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician for our team! We promote a happy work environment by treating each employee like family. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years' experience working as a Veterinary Technician, is licensed in the state of Kansas, is able to place IV catheters, intubate patients for surgery and is comfortable with client education and communication.

Pay range: $23 to $25 depending on experience.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• MUST be State licensed to work as a certified/licensed/registered veterinary technician in Kansas.
• Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.
• Practice OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE.
• Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS office applications, etc.
• Basic math and ability to calculate medication dosages.
• Strong communication skills to ensure patient safety.

Experience

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Required)
• Veterinary Technician Certification (Required) or will have within 90 days of hiring.

We're seeking an RVT with at least ONE year of experience; a demonstrated commitment to animal welfare and health as well as a genuine love for animals and vet medicine. A successful candidate will be able to provide hands-on assistance to patients and perform basic medical procedures. We're looking for a registered licensed vet tech.
