As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you will perform vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities and other studies as needed, balancing patient needs with efficient workflow. You will also ensure an excellent service experience for patients.

This position works Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in Port St. Lucie and Tuesday and Thursday in West Palm Beach.

Responsibilities

1. Perform ultrasound examinations to create a Venous Flow Map for treatment planning.
2. Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients.
3. Set up and clean exam and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
4. Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by the physician.
5. Adhere to scheduled time allotments to maintain workflow.
6. Coordinate with staff and physicians to ensure availability and safety.
7. Maintain quality standards through continued education and interaction with colleagues.
8. Manage equipment and supply inventory.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
2. Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) or ability to earn certification within 60 days of hire.
3. Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
