Job summary

Cardiovascular Physicians of Delaware seeks a part-time Registered Vascular Technologist to join our private cardiology group in Dover/Smyrna, DE. The role involves performing vascular studies, preparing patients, and ensuring timely study reporting, with no weekends or on-call required.

Qualifications include graduation from a vascular technology program and ARDMS RVT or CCI RVS certification, with a preference for a minimum of two years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Vascular Technology program.
• Recent completion of accredited certification by ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred

Job Overview

Join a well-established private cardiology group with a track record of success. We are seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist to join our growing team. This position is weekdays only, no weekends or on call.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular studies as ordered by physicians, in accordance with established practices and procedures.
• Perform imaging at benchmark standards.
• Communicate and prepare patient regarding study while considering the needs of the patient.
• Process preliminary study reports to be reviewed by reading physicians in an accurate and timely manner.

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Vascular Technology program.
• Recent completion of accredited certification by ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS).

• Ability to perform quality and complete vascular studies using 2D, color and Doppler.
• Knowledge of EHR systems.
