Job description

Job Title: Ultrasound Sonographer

We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities and other studies as needed. The role requires balancing patient needs with maintaining an efficient workflow and providing excellent service experience.

Work Schedule: This position involves working three days a week in our Brookfield clinic and two days in our Mequon clinic.

Responsibilities

1. Perform ultrasound examinations to create Venous Flow Maps for treatment planning.
2. Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients, addressing their specific needs.
3. Set up and clean exam and ultrasound rooms before and after procedures.
4. Perform additional ultrasound exams as required by the physician's treatment plan to ensure safety and effectiveness.
5. Adhere to scheduled time allotments for each ultrasound to maintain efficient patient flow.
6. Collaborate with office staff, administrative personnel, and physicians to review schedules, ensuring availability of ultrasound technicians and maintaining patient care quality.
7. Maintain and develop skills through continued education and professional interaction to meet company standards of care.
8. Manage equipment maintenance and supply inventory to ensure operational efficiency.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
2. Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS), or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire.
3. Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
