Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiological Sciences, Ultrasound Technology, or other accepted and approved equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures including vascular studies under supervision.
• Document calibration procedures for imaging equipment.
• Coordinate emergent cases to maximize efficiency.
• Assist Radiologist in ultrasound-guided biopsies to locate target areas.
• Perform all vascular ultrasound exams requested.
• Ensure procedures are accurately charged and submitted for billing.
• Keep the ultrasound room ready and report equipment issues.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care.
• Adapt assessments to patient needs.
• Adhere to CHRISTUS Core Values.
• Follow policies and standards and protect patient confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
