Position Overview

MedBridge Healthcare is seeking experienced RPSGTs or RTs to work at our Bradenton, FL location. This PRN position involves providing sleep services on an as-needed basis, primarily from 8pm to 7am, at competitive hourly rates depending on experience and patient ratio. The role requires working at both Manatee and Lakewood Ranch locations.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating sleep tests and collecting data
• Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results
• Following proper polysomnographic procedures, including electrode placement, sensor use, equipment calibration, and fitting airway pressure masks
• Scoring clinical events such as respiratory and cardiac episodes and tabulating final data for review
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and laws

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or higher education
• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
• Certification as an RPSGT or as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Current BCLS certification
• Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required

Physical Demands

The physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, and specific vision abilities. Employees must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
