Responsibilities
Under the direction of the medical and cardiopulmonary directors, the RCP II performs respiratory therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care, considering patient age and specific needs. In the absence of a supervisor, may be designated as Lead RCP, responsible for the section or department during their shift.
