Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join an established cardiopulmonary specialty team at St. Luke’s Health–Brazosport Hospital in Lake Jackson, TX.

You will administer therapies including nebulizers, CPT, IPV, and specialized ventilation support while monitoring patients and adjusting care plans as needed. You will perform diagnostic testing, ensure timely documentation, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality respiratory care in routine and emergent

Qualifications

• Completion of respiratory care degree program
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
• Texas licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner
• CPR certification (within 14 days)
• ACLS certification (within 6 months)

Responsibilities

• Administer therapy modalities (nebulizers, CPT, IPV, pentamidine) as prescribed
• Provide oxygen and HeO2 therapy and manage ventilation support
• Monitor patients with ABG, PFT, capnography, sleep apnea assessment
• Document care accurately in the department system
