Qualifications

• Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Care or higher.
• RRT certification by NBRC.
• West Virginia licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across hospital departments.
• Supervise other respiratory care practitioners and provide education.
• Operate independently per medical policies and procedures.
• Analyze lung capacity and blood samples with advanced equipment.
• Develop and adjust patient care plans based on response.
• Document and communicate patient conditions clearly.
• Respond to emergency codes with appropriate respiratory treatment.
• Educate patients and families about illnesses and resources.
• Manage respiratory care supplies and equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
