Carilion Clinic in Virginia is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the CNRVMC to deliver advanced respiratory care, perform clinical assessments, and collaborate with the health care team to optimize patient care plans.

This role requires a Respiratory Therapy degree from a CoARC-accredited program, Virginia-licensed RCP, NBRC RRT credential, and strong interpersonal skills; experience is not required. A $20,000 sign-on bonus and up to $7,000 relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapy degree from a CoARC-accredited program.
• No prior experience required.
• Virginia licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) and NBRC RRT credential required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
• Representative summary of major responsibilities may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care and assessments in general and ICU areas.
• Collaborate with the health care team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Document treatments, medications and age-specific plans of care.
• Educate patients and families and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Act as a patient advocate and support growth and development of staff.
