Position Summary

Assesses, administers, monitors, and provides therapy and objective measurement for respiratory care procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Successful completion of a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program for registered respiratory therapists.
• Certification/Licenses: Active New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in good standing; NBRC RRT credential; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association. Additional ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are preferred. All licenses and certifications must be maintained throughout employment.

Skills and Experience

• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and provide respiratory therapy.
• Experience with all age-specific competency groups preferred.

Supervision and Environment

Responsible to: Manager of Respiratory Therapy Center.

Environment involves routine exposure to aerosol or serum-borne pathogens, bloodborne pathogens (C).

Physical Requirements

Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and manual dexterity.
