Job summary

UC Irvine Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to evaluate pulmonary function and perform cardiopulmonary procedures, delivering ventilatory support and therapy to patients.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program, hold RRT certification and California licensure, with flexibility to float between UCI Health campuses. Knowledge of critical care and pediatric/adult emergencies preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certified by NBRC.
• Current California RCP License required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate pulmonary dysfunction and perform cardiopulmonary procedures for patient care.
• Provide ventilatory support using appropriate therapies and equipment.
• Float between UCI Health campuses as needed.
